It is a long trip to get to Denali. But you will not be disappointed by the amazing landscape and the animals you will see on the journey. Here is my biggest suggestion for Denali and that is to stay at the North Face Lodge https://campdenali.com/ By staying here you will be staying inside the park and disconnected from everything. The only other option is to take the National Park bus tours into the park. You are NOT allowed to drive you personnel vehicle into the park. So the only way to get the complete experience is to stay inside the park. You will also just maybe get a chance to see something amazing at night in the park. If all the conditions are right you may get a chance to see the northern lights. During the peak summer season the odds go down as the sun will never completely set. The lodge offers you great opportunity to do some hikes out in the park to see some amazing sites. They take care of all the food and activities so you just have to concentrate on enjoying the park.
